Reserve : Comment : K.Narapat Rojpitisoontorn : Many people in the front desk and talking loudly. No one come to look after me when i arrived there until i went to call them. In the morning 9am I went to have breakfast again Many people in the front desk and talking loudly. On the desk that they prepare food for us very dirty. Many food drop on the table and maybe other guests already used the plate or cup still there. No one tidy it.In addition, No cup for coffee, No knife. Very messy on the table. But they has many people in the front desk still talking. One man just waiting to receive the ticket from us but didn t check anything for us. My room has cigarette butt in the bath room. I am so disappoint for this trip.I come back in Wang thong this time coz I had been stayed before. The food more nice. Moreover, The guest room has been renovate that look good. Dont even bother to wake up early for the breakfast - cold and stiff bread. Reserve : Very good, no hassle and efficient. Comment : Chris Harris : This is my third stay at the Wang Thong. A very old hotel that was probably the best in N. Thailand in it s hey-day with a huge bar and ball rooms with ornate fixtures and marble, but now it s a bit run down. Still a nice staff and close to the Myanmar border and shopping near-by makes me come back. I ve only had trouble getting taxis out of there to show up on time. Not the best of rooms, but passable. Reserve : I had to leave early for business reasons and have not received a refund as of this writing. The booking agent was responsive. Comment : Trulsen : This is the worse hotel i have ever been to.the pictures on the internet must bee from another hotel.no service, no english speaking workers. the food very bad. no refill on the food. bugs and ants walking around the food.swimmingpool closed.roof balcony closed.in town no retaurants. and all closed at 20.00. Reserve : Res24asia.com great as usual. Great variety and customer service and very low prices. We always book with them. Comment : Martin Willem Schmid : Deluxe room was clean and my bag was carried up for me. The pool area is in a horrible shape, with plants dead or dying. Water level was too low and the filter pump seemed to be turned off. Hotel is o.k for a visa run i guess... I didnt get my promised Myanmar view, instead i had a view onto an appartment building on the third floor. Nothing much to do in Mai Sai, but they have a karaoke and some shopping (market) every evening. Date: 2009-10-24

Comment : Huseby : This hotel in Mae Sai seemed to have a lot of guests...However,strange enough\r\nduring our stay only 2 persons in the hotel understood english a little and none of them worked in the reception.(??????)The persons in the reception did not understand a word of english when f.ex. trying to deliver 2 Vouchers for 2 paid nights at the hotel.They also tried to charge us for 3 times more than was the correct sum of money when we checked out.The hotel is good ,but very used rooms,the owners must take out a lot of profit without given investments back in repairs etc.The breakfast is not the best.If there is a better choice of hotel next time I visit M.Sai, I will choose that. Reserve : Wonderful. Replies comes more faster. Comment : KUNIYOSHI : This hotel is located near the border of Myanmar and very convenient to stay. But around here, if you want to take a meal, there are only outstanding restaurants. (actually some restaurant is exist but no customers in there) I think this is good situation for foreigner to enjoy Thai local life style. And further in Myanmar, at Tachleik, my first impression is dusty atmosphere. Date: 2009-04-20
